About teach.

While teaching math in Philadelphia, TEACH’s founder, Maria Ferzola Lipiros, saw a significant need for superior quality 1-on-1 and classroom support from educators who care deeply about students.

She dreamed of connecting her students with an in-school or after-school solution that would maximize their learning and inspire them to reach their highest potential. Today, TEACH realizes Maria’s dream and commitment to increasing students’ and families’ access to educational opportunities by delivering the highest quality classes, 1-on-1 tutoring, and teacher trainings.

What We Do

Since 2011, TEACH has offered exceptional 1-on-1 and classroom-based instruction in academic content areas and in test prep. We also provide professional development and consulting services for schools and non-profit partners.

We pledge that each student will be matched with an expert, handpicked tutor who is committed to maximizing results and building confidence. We are dedicated to coordinating lessons seamlessly – from finding a convenient location and time to including individualized lesson notes from the tutor after each session. We believe that communication is key in tracking student progress and goal setting, so our office team is always here to support you!
